We had a wonderful experience visiting this olive oil shop. Eleni welcomed us warmly and took the time to explain all of her products with genuine passion and enthusiasm. We tasted several olive oils and honey, and everything was absolutely delicious.

The prices are very reasonable and significantly lower than those in the many tourist-oriented shops across Crete, while the quality is far superior. What makes this place even more special is that the production is local and family-run, which you can truly feel in the care and dedication behind every product.

A truly wonderful experience at the Mourello Olive Oil Tasting!

We had an incredibly enriching and enjoyable olive oil tasting experience with Eleni, whose passion, expertise and generosity made the entire moment unforgettable. The tasting was exceptionally well designed and thoughtfully structured, allowing us not only to understand what defines a truly great olive oil, but also to recognize the common defects found in lower-quality oils. It was both fascinating and eye-opening.

Beyond the tasting itself, what made the experience truly special was the warm and authentic atmosphere. The homemade lunch prepared with fresh, home-grown products was absolutely delicious, and sharing this moment with Eleni and her grandmother gave us a genuine glimpse into the Cretan way of life, full of simplicity, warmth and generosity.

We left with wonderful memories — and of course a few bottles of olive oil to bring home, allowing us to prolong a little of this beautiful Cretan experience long after our return.
